Abstract:
This study aims to examine in depth under comparative method, the substantive and procedural law of the enforcement systems of IP laws in Malaysia and the United Kingdom concerning the offence of counterfeiting. Other relevant international and regional legal rules (eg: EC Regulation 1383/2003) will also be examined. The purpose is to find out proposals and ways for possible recommendations to adapt the most suitable model of enforcement mechanisms or its equivalent for Malaysian purpose.
