Abstract:
The research project deals with the different ways of legal migration to the European Union and the implementation of EU Directives on legal migration in five Member States. Moreover, the interplay between EU policies on migration, integration and development are analysed. This includes in particular the question of how the policy goals of integration and circular migration can be combined and the implications of such policies for the sending countries.
