Abstract:
This research relates to different kinds of environmental liability, such as liability with regard to soil pollution and surface water pollution, in relation to corporate mergers, split ups, bankruptcies and acquisitions. Besides, shareholder's and directive's liability is part of the PhD research. A legal comparison will be made between Dutch laws and the laws of certain states within the USA (New Jersey, Connecticut and California).
