Abstract:

This research aims to contribute to ensure better working conditions for those experiencing the downside of the ever-growing gig economy: a lack of social security. My position is funded by the NWO (Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek) and is part of a bigger consortium, including academic partners such as the universities of Amsterdam and Maastricht and social partners like FNV Labour Union, SER Social and Economic Council and Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
