Abstract:
I am going to research what ethical and human/children's rights issues arise from artificial reproductive technologies (ARTs) and what a new regulatory framework of Dutch parentage law should look like to take future ARTs into account. The reason for choosing this topic is because of the various ethical and legal challenges that arise when ARTs will be used. In addition, this research will have social impact by redesigning Dutch parentage law. I expect to formulate a proposal for a new regulatory framework for Dutch parentage law, which ensures compliance
with evolving ARTs while safeguarding ethical principles and human/children's rights.
