Abstract:

My research is part of an ERC research project entitled SoftEn. SoftEn aims at conceptualising the use and operationalisation of soft enforcement processes in the migratory context . Within this overall project, my research focuses on the use of soft enforcement as a tool to supervise migratory policy implementation. The research aims to provide comprehensive analysis of the design, practice, and impact of supervision on the EUs external border management policy, informed through original empirical qualitative data.
