Abstract:

Regenerative agriculture differs from conventional agriculture because it contributes to various sustainability themes such as a healthy soil, biodiversity, and animal welfare. However, stricter sustainability rules generally result in a weaker market position. To facilitate the transition to regenerative agriculture, a sufficient revenue model must be available for farmers making this transition. In my research, I will explore what a potential revenue model could be within the limits of competition law.
